I’ve noticed a lot of people struggle with making character sheets. The point of this guide is not to impose some sort of ridged methodology but rather to provide a starting point from which to work. If you figure out some other way to make a good sheet then fantastic! I’d love to see it.
If you have any questions, critiques and or feed back do not hesitate to let me know. This is the first time I’ve attempted to make a guide on character sheets so I’m sure there is room for improvement. I made this guide for SWTOR but you could probably use it for other games as well.
Tips for Filling in the Rest of the Space
- Place the big stuff first. For most of my sheets that ends up being the picture of my character holding their weapon(s).
- Nothing is set in stone. Using a art program that has layers means you can move things around to your heart’s content. If something is not working then feel free to experiment.
- You can always star over. If you really screw up just start over. You probably won’t get it right on the first try (I rarely do), and that’s fine.
- Remember you start out already ½ way done! The upper ½ of your character and the full body views are covered. All you need to worry about is the lower ½ and weapons.

Wish I'd had thought of this when I sent you my stuff. Would have helped a ton. Saved for future though, thanks.
